Tasting Notes
This barrel aged gin stars locally abundant, foraged botanicals from Melbourne’s fringe suburbs, gently aged in a combination of Spanish Sherry casks and Aussie Apera barrels. Imbue's Suburban gins' spice notes are transformed thanks to aging in Oak Sherry barrels, into the toastiness of gently sweet nutty granola. The dry piney finish really highlights the juniper base spirit and makes a nip a wonderful accompaniment to a cheese board. Enjoy in an old-fashioned, or neat with a cheese platter!
