Tasting Notes
Details: Mount Franklin Pinot Gris The story: This wine stands out to me as something I have been waiting for years to have the chance to create. Pristine cool-climate, low yielding slope grown Pinot Gris spends a month on skins, eighteen months in barrel and six months in bottle prior to release. The essence: This wine is a story about time and patience. I expected to release this wine a year after it was harvested but the tension in it was surreal. But when it released, it was beautiful. Time is a resource we don’t control.
